Planning Application Update

Vistry Homes has submitted the Reserved Matters application to Horsham District Council. It will be validated and published on the Council’s planning portal in the coming weeks.

Based on feedback from our public consultation held earlier this year, changes to the application include:

White Bridge Contribution Flexibility

  • Following recent discussions and in line with current council suggestions, we can confirm that if the White Bridge contribution is no longer needed for its original purpose, it is anticipated that funds may be redirected towards remaining River Adur riverbank improvements and related infrastructure, in conjunction with the planned bridge works.

Village Green Activation

  • The potential to host events and operate a kiosk on the village green has been raised multiple times. While space may be limited, we have no objection to this use, and have agreed with the council, that in order to support future activities, we’ll ensure an electricity stanchion is installed and that the Management Company is aware of this requirement.

On Site Works

  • Strip trenching: Mostly at the front of the site which are required to accurately pinpoint where the services are located.

  • Further archaeological works: This will be in two areas and will cover a wider area than just strip trenching. This is at the request of the County Archaeologist. Once we have determined the exact locations, we will issue further details on the plan and timescales for these works.
